Fire Water

Mt short story "Fire Water" is up on the Utah Children's Writers Blog. I hope you enjoy it. Leave a comment!

  1. I'll go check it out! =)

  2. Yamile, I left a comment. I do love your voice. I'm sorry if I was harsh at our first go around at our round table--with the many years of writing, I've been told that I couldn't write so literarilly. *Sigh*

I get so many confusing messages on what is right and wrong, I guess we just need to be true to ourselves. What do you think?

    Great writing! :)

PS--I really enjoyed meeting you and having you at my table! I hope we can get to know each other better! Are you on facebook? Look me up: elizabeth martinez mueller

  3. PS--thanks for finding me and following my blog!! :D ((Hugs))

  4. Holaaaaa!!!

I just read your short story! I've NEVER read anything regarding marine bioluminescence, but your spin on it was just so refreshing, unique, and I really wanted to know what happened next. Thanks for making my day a lot better, Yamile.

And congrats on getting the story out there! I'm sure many adoring fans are gonna pop up real soon :D

  5. oo awesome!! clicking over right now!!

    (and congrats!!)

  6. No worries Elizabeth. I really appreciate your comments. I know literary isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's the voice my character speak, and I must obey. Let's keep in touch!

  7. You are so talented. I'm a bit jealous, writing has never been a strong suit of mine but I love to read. Have you written more to that story?

Due to the high level of spam and trolls, I'm moderating comments for a bit.
